holy shmoley, what a weekend. us lucky northeastern dwellers got smacked up and down by 2 back to back snow storms. never in my life have i been so happy to see monday – monday with no snow! at evil designs we pulled down a nice 31 inches of cold mess which of course knocked out our power and cable hence the no posts. it was like snomageddon here. here are some photos below from the aftermath..

since we had no power, we decided to take a rzr ride up to cragsmoor. here is the beautiful chapel of the holy name. they had to at least have gotten 3.5 feet of snow. it was literally a wall of snow. as you can see the snow is up to the windows. below is a summer photo to compare to.

then we took a ride up to sams point preserve. look at that snow drift up top…i can’t even tell you how large that is.

i’d be a happy girl if this was the last storm we got this season. it was too much at once! anyway – have a happy monday.

i know i fell down again. i have been really ill and was only really capable of sitting up for about 3 hours before wanting to pass out. thankfully the medicine finally worked and i’m feeling human once again…so – lets see how this week goes. we have this lovely studio widnes.

yes so i massively, un-excusably fell down last week with posting. ’twas a very busy week as i’m sure you all are very busy too, damn holidays! i will try my best to not fall down this week. so let start off with happy monday and a look at this awesome, aweeeeesommmmmme house by Johnston Architects in (of course) washington. love this place thoroughly, my only objection is the firms name and it totally is not their fault – johnston. *shudder* there are a select few out there who feel my pain. anywho – here is their greatness.

I hope you all had a fabulous long weekend. This weekend I attempted wreath making. Well I pretty much had left overs from our christmas tree and decided to be creative. needless to say, i am no martha…however, they didn’t come out too shabby. perhaps this weekend i will try something like below. how pretty!

speaking of winter, i want one of these…this is a basement. how cool? escape the winter blues by having your own tiki bar down stairs!!!! talk about a staycation. wheres the reggae and rum?
